Located right by Claremont Quarter, with exposed brick walls and a glassed-in coffee roastery, Typika was an easy choice for breakfast after the Anzac Day dawn service. With tired eyes and empty tummies, four friends waltzed in, eager to fuel up on coffee and carbs.
It being not even 8am, the place had not yet been filled up with the usual early risers, so it was easy getting a table for the four of us. The waitstaff were prompt in bringing us table water and taking our coffee orders. Not long after, our breakfast orders had been whisked away to the kitchen and as we sat waiting for our food, I admired the way staff greeted their regular customers like they were old friends.
When our food came out, our eyes lit up with joy and as we devoured our breakfast, I pondered on the words I’d use to compose my review.
